The Build Her Up Committee is ASA’s women-in-construction group, dedicated to empowering and supporting women in the trades. This committee focuses on creating meaningful opportunities for connection, growth, and inspiration by hosting six classes each year.
Each class is uniquely designed—sometimes featuring a dynamic speaker who is resonating with women in construction, other times highlighting hot topics that matter most to women in the industry. Within those six annual sessions, the group also makes it a priority to include one fun, community-focused event, offering a chance for members to connect outside the classroom.
The committee is also committed to hosting a donation-based charitable contribution event every year, giving back to the community while strengthening the bonds among members.
