Register Today for the SB1271 Rally

As the week winds down, I want to again remind you about the Arizonans for Fair Contracting Rally we are holding at the House of Representatives next Tuesday, March 20th. Our goal is to PACK the House gallery to show every member of the House of Representatives that contractors from across Arizona are rallying behind SB1271.

Please arrive EARLY to allow time to find parking and pass through security at the House of Representatives. We ask that you arrive at the Capitol no later than 1:00 PM and make every effort to be seated in the third-floor gallery by 1:15 PM. I will be onsite along with ASA and AFC representatives to assist and direct participants.

Members of industry will be recognized from the House floor by Representative Regina Cobb, another great industry champion, after which we will move downstairs to House Hearing Room 1 for the House Commerce Committee meetings at 2:00 PM. As of today, SB1271 is the only bill on the committee agenda, so we can expect much less of a wait than we experienced during Senate hearings.

We are trying to track potential attendance. If you haven’t already registered for the rally through the Arizonans for Fair Contracting website, you can do so by clicking here.

Until next Tuesday, we need to continue reaching out to legislators, requesting their support for SB1271. There are 60 members in the House of Representatives, so outreach from supporters like you has never been more critical. Let’s get SB1271 through committee and work toward another unanimous vote on the House floor. You can MAKE A DIFFERENCE by attending the rally at the Capitol and by reaching out to the following members of the House Commerce Committee before March 20th.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call our office at (602) 274-8979. Thank you again for your efforts – we wouldn’t be where we are without your support!
