As mentioned last Friday, March 15, SB1271 has officially been added to the House Judiciary Committee agenda for this Wednesday (TOMORROW), March 20. The committee will meet promptly at 9:00 AM in House Hearing Room 4. I hope that you will join us at the Capitol to show the committee members that SB1271 is important to Arizona’s construction industry and that you and your company support state law that measures up for everyone.
In my message last week, I also shared the contact information for the members of the House Judiciary Committee. If you have not already done so, I ask that you please take the time to call or email each committee member TODAY and ask that they support SB1271. The time you commit to this messaging can have a major impact on helping to move SB1271 forward.
Important: I highly recommend that you plan to arrive at the Capitol no later than 8:30 AM to find parking and allow time to pass through House security. Unlike the Senate building, there is a metal detector that visitors much pass through in order to enter the House building. If you routinely carry a pocket knife or any combo tool that has a blade, be sure to leave that in your vehicle to avoid having to make a return trip to the parking lot.
Your support and participation is greatly appreciated. I hope to see you tomorrow morning.
