Negotiating for Advantage                           Janet Alberts, Ph.D.

An understanding of the “science” and processes of effective negotiation is critical because most of us are involved on an almost daily bases from informal one-on-one interactions to formal bargaining in small or large groups. Participants will learn their personal negotiating “styles” and which styles are most effective. This class will provide an understanding of your own goals and expectation and those of the other party and demonstrate how to prepare for important interactions. The purpose of this class is to learn how to organize for negotiations and to develop win-win skills to prevail in bargaining and collaborating with others.
