Managing Project Costs                           Avi Wiezel, Ph.D.      

The issues involved in the critical area of managing project costs will be addressed in detail and participants will understand the components included in the process such as estimating, budgeting and cost to complete work in progress. The difference between recording costs and controlling costs will be stressed and the importance and implications of accurate reporting will be stressed. The intention is to understand the types and uses of budgeting, estimating and project cost control processes to know as soon as possible when a project is on or off course.
