ASA Members’ Community Support

Practice random acts of kindness. Pay it forward. Give back. It’s all about making the world a better place. Helping a needy individual, family, or organization with a hand up is often life-changing and makes a positive difference in the community. ASA applauds our members who are unsung heroes embracing the spirit of community through selfless acts of kindness.

We would like to recognize Roofing Southwest and Diversified Roofing Corporation as two such community heroes for the hand up they gave to a retired couple with serious health issues who couldn’t afford repairs to their roof and covered patio. They are grateful beyond words for your generosity.

We would also like to recognize members Harris and L&L Asphalt for their recent contribution to repairs and improvements at Hunkapi Farms, a north Scottsdale based equine therapy facility serving more than 300 youth and adult clients with a wide range of diagnoses including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Emotional Disorder, Addiction Disorder, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder among others. The repairs made mitigated flooding issues with a special event building and road access, allowing Hunkapi to host a prestigious national study conference earlier this year. Without the assistance of these community heroes this wouldn’t have been possible.

The Board of Directors of Hunkapi greatly appreciates the support of these ASA members and would love to share the mission of Hunkapi with you during their annual “Open Your Heart Gala” on Friday, October 11, as they celebrate 20 years of serving the community. Visit the Hunkapi website for details and ticket information or call (480) 393-0870.

Help us spread the spirit of community. We’d love to share your company’s community service stories.
